Notice of competition for the awarding of two scholarships in memory of Federico Cafarella to students enrolled in the first year of the master's degree program in Corporate Finance at Luiss University in the 2024/2025 academic year
Thanks to the financial contribution of friends and the Cafarella family, Luiss University, announces a competition for the awarding of two scholarships in memory of Federico Cafarella earmarked for students enrolled in the first year of the master's degree program in Corporate Finance in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Federico was a Luiss student in the Economics and Business and Corporate Finance degree programs. During his university years, he always stood out in his studies, with his marked sense of irony and cheerfulness, achieving excellent academic results and showing empathy and closeness to all those who knew him. He left an indelible mark at Luiss by being a promoter of many initiatives related to the values he held most dear: meritocracy, friendship and dedication.
The two scholarships consist of a waiver of the second installment of the annual tuition fee, each one worth 4,400 euros.
Call for applications for the awarding of twenty-four scholarships for master’s degree programs - 2024/2025 academic year
Luiss University offers twenty-four scholarships to students enrolled for the first year of a master's degree program in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The scholarships consist of a partial waiver of the University’s annual single tuition fee worth € 6,750 each per annum. The waiver will be credited against the second and third installments of the University’s single tuition fee. Therefore, scholarship winners will have to pay the first installment as well as the associated statutory taxes by the deadline that the University sets.
GMAT/GRE Scholarship
As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering eight scholarships to students who have submitted an application for direct admission for the first year of a master's degree program in the 2023-2024 academic with a currently valid GMAT or GRE certificate.
The eight scholarships, consisting of a full waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee, will be awarded with priority to students who submit GMAT certification with a score equal to or greater than 710 or equivalent GRE score converted on the basis of the annexed table.
If the number of winners with a score equal to or greater than 710 is less than the number of planned scholarships, applications from students with a GMAT/GRE score lower than 710 will be considered until funds are exhausted. The scholarships thereby awarded, again in descending order of score, will consist of a partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee worth € 6,500. In the case of a tie, preference will be accorded to applications in the order in which they were submitted.
Disco Lazio – Regional Call for the right to education and promotion of knowledge
Call for application for the assignment of scholarships, accommodations, dining services, contributions for international mobility and graduation awards.
Luiss offers a full waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee for those who will be eligible for the DiSCo Lazio right to education call, 2023-2024 academic year. Luiss candidates, while waiting for the outcome of the selection process, are required to regularize their administrative position by paying the first instalment of the University’s annual tuition fee. Once the final ranking is published (generally in October), DiSCo will refund the regional fee for the right to study while Luiss will refund the first instalment.
The call for application will be publish in May 2023.
