The Cultural Activities Office is looking for musicians and singers for next year’s LUISS music workshop, starting in October 2016.
The new program aims to create a philharmonic orchestra and choir accompanied by pianists. Participants in these programs will also be involved in writing the first LUISS anthem.
The workshop will be conducted by Maesto Fabrizio Adriano Neri, orchestra conductor, baritone and composer.
Roles and prerequisites are as follows:
- Singers non-professionals with good intonation
- Pianists conservatory graduates or minors in Composition
- Choir directors to eventually become orchestra directors with a minimum minor in Composition
- Musicians with an orchestra background:
- strings: violin, viola, cello and double bass
- harp
- woodwinds: flute, piccolo, oboe, English horn, clarinet, bass clarinet, e-flat clarinet, bassoon, contrabassoon
- brass: horns, trumpet, trombone, tuba
- percussion: kettledrums and other percussion instruments
