Candidates with disabilities, including temporary disabilities, or with specific learning disorders (SLD) must send a copy of the medical documentation issued by the local health authority (ASL) for their place of residence or by a facility accredited with the National Health Service indicating that they wish to avail themselves of compensatory measures.
When registering to take the Admission Test, you must select the language in which you wish to take it. That indication will be binding for the purposes of choosing the degree programmes/majors to which admission is being sought:
-
if you choose to take the Admission Test in Italian, you can only select degree programmes/majors taught in Italian;

If you are a student or graduate
-
from another university: we invite you to independently verify whether you meet the minimum curricular requirements by clicking here. If those requirements are not met, you will have to submit – by the deadline for submission of applications for admission – documentation evidencing how you propose to make good that shortcoming (e.g. through the inclusion of extracurricular educational activities in you study plan). The deficit may be made up solely through earning ECTS credits by 13 November 2025. As specified in the Call for Applications, the Admissions Office will check fulfilment of the minimum curricular requirements when enrolment is being finalised. Therefore, any admission based on the Test and ensuing registration of the student is to be considered as conditional until fulfilment of the said minimum curricular requirements is established. For information and support: ammissione@luiss.it.
-
of a Luiss bachelor's degree programme: minimum curricular requirements are always deemed to be fulfilled regardless of the Academic Area that the programme belongs to.
Without prejudice to the above curricular requirements, it should be noted that there will be no revision of fundamental concepts in class since it is a master’s degree programme.
GMAT or GRE certificates are not compulsory. However, if you have one of the two certificates obtained no more than three years previously with the following scores, please upload it when registering for the Admission Test in order to obtain a bonus as specified below:
for a bonus worth 10% of the score obtained in the Test:
a GRE certificate with the following scores: Verbal: 135 - 139 and Quantitative: 135 - 139 or
a GMAT certificate:
GMAT “Focus” Edition (current GMAT version) with a score between 445 and 475 out of 805, or
GMAT 10th Edition with a score between 450 and 499 out of 800;
for a bonus worth 15% of the score obtained in the Test:

GMAT “Focus” Edition (current GMAT version) with a score between 485 and 505 out of 805, or
GMAT 10th Edition with a score between 500 and 549 out of 800.
Remember that you will have to enable Luiss to view your results on the official databases of the certification bodies. Otherwise you will not be able to obtain the bonus. In the case of GMAT candidates must authorise Luiss to access the GMAT database to check the official score report while in the case of GRE candidates must ask the certification body to send a hard copy of the certificate in hard copy, failing which it will be impossible to obtain the envisaged bonus. The cost of sending the certificate is borne by candidates.
In order to avail yourself of the tools provided, we would ask you to upload the relevant documentation when registering for the Admission Test, so that compensatory measures can be offered to you for taking the Test after an assessment undertaken by the relevant commission.
In the case of a specific learning disorder proved by appropriate medical documentation, the relevant commission will assess the compensatory measures to be offered for taking the Test. On the basis of what emerges from an examination of the documentation submitted, one or more of the following measures may be granted as per the appliable law and regulations:
-
30% more time;
-
the use of a calculator, which candidates must bring themselves;
-
assistance from a tutor for the purposes of reading the questions and/or filling in the answer sheet.
In the case of disability proved by certification attesting to a degree of disability equal to or greater than 66%, the relevant commission will assess what compensatory measures are to be offered for taking the Test. On the basis of what emerges from an examination of the documentation submitted, one or more of the following measures may be granted as per the appliable law and regulations:

For any changes to the data entered in the application to take the Admission Test, you must send a request in that regard by e-mail to ammissione@luiss.it by 2 April 2025. The onus is on you to check that any requested change has been correctly received. If the change is not made by 2 April 2025, it will not be possible to make it at a later date.
The Admission Test, to be taken online, will consist of 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes, divided into 35 psycho-aptitude questions and 15 questions on specific topics, differentiated according to the Academic Area for which you are taking the Test (Economics Area and Political Science Area). Before taking the Admission Test, please very carefully read the Admission Test Regulations, which will be available on this page.
Please note that separate rankings will be drawn up for Luiss students and students from other universities. In both cases, the rankings will be broken down by degree programme/major and will be based entirely on the test score expressed in hundredths including any bonuses calculated on the score obtained by candidates.
At its absolute discretion, taking into account also the other selection methods adopted by the University and the results obtained by candidates, the relevant commission may set a minimum score that has to be achieved in order to gain admission broken down by first choice degree programmes/majors.
Only after the rankings for the first choice degree programmes/majors have been compiled, if there are still places available for certain degree programmes/majors, the said commission may decide to draw on any second choices expressed until the classes are filled, in order of ranking. In any case, there will be no repechage.
Given the importance of the choice of degree programmes to be made when filling in the form to take the Admission Test, we would like to remind you that should you wish to change that choice you can do so by sending an e-mail to that effect to ammissione@luiss.it no later than 2 April 2025. In any case, the Orientation Office is at your disposal for an informed choice of degree programme.
