Start Cup Lazio (SCL), promoted by Luiss, is the regional Business Plan Competition that rewards the best innovative business projects born in Lazio’s Universities and Research Institutions.
Aiming to promote the academic and student entrepreneurship and encourage competition for the best business ideas in Lazio, with the perspective of the economic and social implementation across the country, this 10th edition of Start Cup Lazio, admits 16 teams of researchers and 11 teams of students to the second phase of "Business Idea Validation."
Among the research teams that reached the final, Asimov AI stands out as a company offering AI tools for legislative analysis, scientifically validated by the Luiss Center for Parliamentary Studies (CESP) research. By providing the Luiss centre with its technical expertise to jointly participate in challenges and opportunities from the territory, Asimov AI's business idea proposes automated legislative monitoring and investigation services to institutions and companies using artificial intelligence.
Following training and mentoring for teams that have passed the first validation stage and thanks to the support of the Lazio Region and Lazio Innova, the selection process will move on to the final stage, ahead of Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione (PNI). For the top three ranked business ideas - among teams of students and researchers - there are cash prizes and additional awards.
