On February 15, Luiss held an event in the Viale Romania campus garden in honor of International Childhood Cancer Day.

During the ceremony, Luiss inaugurated Peter Pan is a Geek, a new course offered in collaboration with Associazione Peter Pan Onlus.

Students involved in the course will work side by side with six young people affected by cancer to develop ideas and innovative strategies to respond to the needs of patients during treatment. The best idea will have the chance to be made a reality.

The initiative aims to promote interaction and create concrete social impact, coherent with the University's vision as expressed through opportunities offered by the Luiss Ers and Soft Skills Office

Luiss General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto, Director of Associazione Peter Pan Onlus Gian Paolo Montini, and founder of the association Giovanna Leo participated in the event.
