Professor Giuseppe Italiano teaches Computer Science at in the LUISS Department of Business and Management.

An algorithm inventor and scientist specialized where computer science and machine learning meet: "Algorithms are becoming more important to our lives every day, they are transforming our world and we must understand them to govern our future," explains Professor Italiano.

From 1991 to 1996 he lived in the United States, completing his PhD in Computer Science at Colombia University. He was also a member of the research team at the IBM Watson Research Center New York.

At LUISS, Professor Italiano works to integrate innovation into the University's course offerings, introducing crucial coding and artificial intelligence elements to the Economics study plan.
