On Thursday, January 18, starting at 9:30 a.m., LUISS transmitted live streaming of the inauguration ceremony of the 2017-2018 academic year, featuring the awarding of a Laurea Honoris Causa in Management to Nobel Prize winner Edmund S. Phelps.

Speakers during the ceremony are as follows: Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, British economist Sir Anton Muscatelli, Principal of the University of Glasgow, Professor Giorgio Di Giorgio, LUISS President Emma Marcegaglia, Rector Paola Severino and General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto.
