Jean-Paul Fitoussi

Professor Jean-Paul Fitoussi, LUISS instructor of European Economics, has been awarded the 2016 Progress Medal from the prestigious Society for Progress

The Society for Progress is an independent academic group that combines the study of the current economic system with moral and social philosophy.

For his work on identifying criteria to measure social well-being that go beyond traditional economic measures, Professor Fitoussi was recognized alongside Professors Joseph Stiglitz from Columbia University and Amartya Sen from Harvard University.
