Shimon Peres Laurea Honoris Causa LUISS

In November, 1994, LUISS awarded Shimon Peres an honorary degree in Economics and Commerce.

Shimon Peres was president of Israel from 2007 until 20124 and minister of foreign affairs from 1992 until 1995.

In 1994 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize alongside Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat for their work towards peace in the Middle East.

The university commemorates this important figure following his death on September 28, 2016 in Tel Aviv.
