On Friday, May 27, 2016, LUISS Vice Rector in Charge of Research Leonardo Morlino was the main speaker during the Margaret Vogt Memorial Lecture at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, organized by the Secretary-General of the UN. 

Entitled What is the impact of the economic crisis on democracy? Evidence from Europe, the talk was part of a special lecture series sponsored by the Working Group on Democracy of the UN Executive Committee on Peace and Security of the Department of Political Affairs. The event celebrated Margaret Vogt, former Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Central African Republic.
