SummerS Luiss

For all students enrolled in Bachelor, Master's or single-cycle degree programs, Summer Schools are a great way to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the academic year. Spending a summer in a foreign country allows you to get to know new cultures and improve your language skills.

Moreover, Luiss will give you the opportunity to obtain the recognition of credits earned abroad within their Luiss curriculum.

Recognition of Summer Schools abroad proposed by students

The requirements and procedures established in the Regulations are available this page.

Upon passing the exam of a recognized course abroad, according to the modes described hereafter, one of the elective courses of your degree program's career plan.

There are two main modes for the recognition of a Summer School course abroad:

  1. Recognition of a pre-approved course
  2. Request for new recognition

Alternativately, it is possible to have the course taken abroad recognized as credits for "other activities", or as an additional course abroad (which does not award credits valid towards a student's graduation nor it affects grade point average).
