The Board of Directors, led by Emma Marcegaglia, has confirmed the nomination of Massimo Egidi for a second term as Provost until 2018.
Provost of the University of Trento from 1996 until 2004, Egidi has been the leader of academic affairs at LUISS since 2006. Celebrated in the field of Cognitive Economics, Egidi has authored numerous scientific articles on Cognitive and Experimental Economics, Organization Theory and Learning Organization as well as Decision Theory and Bounded Rationality. Egidi has furthermore performed a variety of roles throughout his career within academic institutions and research centers around the world.
This nomination confirms the University’s commitment to internationalization and didactic innovation, an effort strengthened through the School system (School of Government, School of European Political Economy, School of Law and Business School) which has seen an increase in appeal to talented young people, researchers and educators from around the globe as well as a further consolidation with the working world.
