Starting in September 2016, the cafeterias on both the Viale Romania and Viale Pola campuses will be completed renovated and open seven days a week.
In the last few years, our nutritional habits have become continually more focused on high quality food, our health and respecting personal dietary requirements.
To best respond to these needs, LUISS students, staff and faculty can now use our completely new, flexible and highly personalized catering service, offered in collaboration with COMPASS Group, a leader in the university catering sector.
The menu will offer variety, quality, transparency and freedom thanks to the new islands that will allow diners to see their food being prepared. Responding to all needs, the ample menu gives customers the chance to build their own meal, choosing a traditional combination of dishes or taking advantage of islands dedicated to complete dishes or specific dietary needs.
Among the other new options, several menus will include functional meals based on healthy food and gourmet dishes, as well as islands dedicated to Italian, international, vegetarian and gluten-free recipes.
Starting in September, the cafeterias will also be open seven days a week at both lunch and dinner, observing the following opening hours:
- Monday through Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
To continue offering a competitive service, the cafeteria will offer diversified pricing schemes, promotions for those who buy multiple meals, periodical passes and discounts for those who eat both lunch and dinner campus on the same day.
The new cafeteria will be a true catering service for students, and thanks to monitors placed around the room, guests will be able to read the daily menu as well as allergens in each dish in both Italian and English.
