On September 28, LUISS and FAO signed an agreement to exchange knowledge to train professionals in food safety.

Signing the agreement were Director of the LUISS School of Law, Antonio Nuzzo and the FAO Director of Partnerships and South-South Cooperation, Marcela Villarreal.

Thanks to the agreement, the third edition of the English-language LL.M. in Food Law, is integrated with materials on nutrition and food safety.

"We are particularly proud to be working with FAO, demonstrating LUISS University's constant drive to allow students to best understand questions that are fundamental to life and our collective future," remarks Professor Nuzzo.

"FAO is delighted to begin this project with LUISS, a key actor in the panorama of Italian food law," comments Marcela Villarreal.

The UN agency will send its experts to give lessons at LUISS and participating students can attend FAO events.
