Costanza Posarelli is a LUISS Law graduate currently working as an associate at the American law firm Sullivan & Cromwell.

After choosing to major in International Law, Costanza participated in the LL.M. Educational Program with Fordham University - School of Law in New York, where she spent her entire fifth year, before returning to Italy to complete her degree in July 2016. “Both LUISS and Fordham were stimulating environments that allowed me to face any challenge that came my way from my first day on the job.”

“Among the University’s strengths, I would list the importance it gives to internationalization and the variety of activities, both academic and extracurricular, that give students the chance to meet and to experience the job market, increasing our career prospects.”

Costanza believes that her life experiences, including her time abroad, were crucial to landing her dream job. “My extracurricular activities, together with the contribution of a few professors and the chance to experience different academic systems gave me tools that I use every day at work.”

Today Costanza works in London where she works primarily in the field of Capital Markets and Mergers&Acquisitions for Sullivan & Cromwell. “I came in contact with the firm during a job fair organized by Fordham University. Despite a highly competitive selection process, I got the call soon after for an interview and was then offered the job.”

“Working in such a prestigious studio allows me to handle sophisticated projects, while working in the London office, which is much smaller than the New York office, has meant developing close relationships with my colleagues. It is such a stimulating environment, I never get bored and I hope to be able to continue growing, and not only on a professional level.”
