On Thursday, January 21 at 6:30 pm, Luiss University Press presents the Italian translation of The Far Right Today by Cas Mudde, entitled Ultradestra. Radicali ed estremisti dall’antagonismo al potere.
Speaking during the presentation are Caterina Froio, Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po, Gianfranco Pellegrino, Luiss Professor of Political Theory and Christian Raimo, journalist and writer.
The far-right of radicals and extremists is an increasingly central part of political debate, and not only in Europe. Luiss presents the publication to examine the panorama of the far-right in Italy and Europe, as well as the situation evolving at the end of Trump's presidency in the United States with the objective of understanding the political and social contexts that inspired thousands to come together in Washington DC to attack the Capitol.
The event will be streamed live on Luiss Social TV.
