Starting Tuesday, January 19, Luiss hosts four talks to present research entitled Italy and its Reputation: Universities from italiadecide in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo and drafted by Domenico Asprone, Pietro Maffettone, Massimo Rubecchi and Vincenco Alfano.
The aim of the research is to evaluate the importance of international rankings in higher education, the ranking of Italy and initiatives to improve our international reputation in a sector that is strategic to the development and competitiveness of the country and its businesses.
The work will be presented during four webinars: the second, The University's Reputation in the Globalized World, will be held January 26 at 6:00 pm and streamed live over Webex. Registration required.
On Tuesday, January 19, the first event was held. Introducing the research were Luiss Vice President Paola Severino, Chief Institutional Affairs and External Communication Officer at Intesa Sanpaolo Stefano Lucchini, and President of italiadecide Anna Finocchiaro. Guest speakers were Dario Consoli, Business Development QS Intelligence Unit, Alberto Baccini, Siena University and Co-Founder of ROARS, and Mirko Degli Esposti, Bologna University and Coordinator of CRUI Commission on Rankings. Introducing and moderating the debate were Pietro Maffettone, Federico II University in Naples.
The next talk, held on February 2 at 6:00 pm, focuses on the Reputation of Italian Universities and the Value of Communication.
The fourth event, entitled Choices and Policies for a University's Reputation, will be held on February 23 and streamed live on Luiss Social TV.
Speaking are Vice President Paola Severino, President of Intesa Sanpaolo Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, President of Fondazione Leonardo Luciano Violante and the Minister of Universities and Research Gaetano Manfredi.
