Our University has been awarded new grants, as research partner, in relation to two projects within the Horizon Europe programme.

The AWARE (“Aquaponics from WAstewater Reclamation”) project seeks to remove the barriers preventing reclaimed water aquaculture from becoming a European reality, implementing the first European case study in the town of Fasano (Puglia, Italy), and integrating the proposed solutions in an aquaponic recirculation system with IoT monitoring and automation technologies. The Luiss’ scientific responsible of the four-year project - coordinated by Innova S.r.l. and supported by the Association Amici di LabGov - is Prof. Christian Iaione.

The CATALISI (“Catalysation of institutional transformations of Higher Education Institutions through the adoption of acceleration services”) project, which will last three years, will instead support Higher Education Institutions to successfully implement a strategy and individual pathway for institutional transformation through the adoption of acceleration services in the field of Research and Innovation. CATALISI, coordinated by APRE - Agency for the Promotion of European Research, represents a strategic project for Luiss, as it aims to implement structures and initiatives to enhance Luiss’ Third Mission.
