Advanced education on digital technologies, applied research and co-innovation between academics, students and experts are at the heart of the new agreement signed yesterday between Luiss University and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) with the aim of strengthening cooperation between academia and industry in the field of digital technologies.
The memorandum of understanding envisages the joint development of education programmes on advanced digital skills, applied research activities with a high technological impact, co-innovation projects involving students, faculty and professionals, as well as orientation and placement initiatives to facilitate students' transition into the labour market.
Present at the signing of the agreement were the Rector Paolo Boccardelli, the General Manager Rita Carisano and the Deputy Rector for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills Giuseppe Italiano. Representing Hewlett Packard Enterprise were Claudio Bassoli, Chairman and CEO, and Enrico Martines, Director of Development and Social Innovation.
The new synergy is part of the University's strategic path to consolidate its role as a leading hub in the field of digital transformation, through integrating research, teaching and partnerships with businesses.
