Chiara Mormile LUISS

LUISS student Chiara Mormile took home a silver medal with the women's fencing team during the sixth World Military Games, held October 2-11 in Mungyeong, South Korea.

Politics, Philosophy and Economics major and Army corporal, Chiara fought for the silver alongside Air Force airwoman Rebecca Gargano and carabiniere Livia Stagni.  

The World Military Games are organized every four years by the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) to promote friendship through athletics. During this sixth edition, nearly 4,500 athletes from over 100 countries participated, including 81 Italians from all brances of the military.

On
