On Monday, June 27, 2016, Professor David L. Rogers, professor of Marketing and Digital Business Strategy at Columbia Business School, spoke at the first X.ITE Talk promoted by LUISS X.ITE, a new research center focused on innovative models and experiences of speakers from the best international business schools.
The first talk focused on digital business transformation, a theme Rogers wrote about in The Digital Transformation Playbook: Rethink Your Business for The Digital Age. His research on brand leadership regards big data, the internet of things, the use of smartphones in commercial interaction and services, as well as digital marketing metrics. Rogers is also the creator and organizer of the BRITE Conference, an annual event at Columbia University on brands, innovation and technology, where CEOs and CMOs from large global companies meet the world’s most important tech and media firms to take on the challenge of brand equity in the digital era.
Through events like X.ITE Talks and X.ITE Seminars, the LUISS research center on behaviors and technologies, directed by Professor Michele Costabile and presided over by Professor Paolo Legenzi, promotes knowledge transfer processes in line with activities in technology transfer offices.
