February 18, 2017, a team of 5 LUISS Law students won the Italian national competition of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Hosted this year by the University of Verona’s Department of Law, the Jessup Competition is the largest and most prestigious international law games in the world, with 700 universities from 90 countries participating annually.
Led by LUISS instructor Pietro Pustorino, team members Manfredi Marciante, Cristina Rapagnà, Filippo Maria Pietrosanti, Arnaldo Mitola and Francesco Brunetti won the national stage of the case simulation competition and will go on to represent Italy in the world finals in Washington DC.
In 2016, the LUISS team placed among the top 30 teams globally.
