On Tuesday, May 23, at 9:30 a.m., LUISS transmits live in streaming Italian fashion: creativity, brand protection and governance models.
The talk is the inaugural event of Appuntamenti con l'Ingegno (Appointments with Genius) that will examine the keys to the success of Italian creativity in different forms, with reflection from experts to strengthen and incentivize the field.
Promoted in collaboration with Comitato Leonardo - Italian Quality Committee, the first event, dedicated to fashion, aims to shine a light on Made in Italy brand governance and success while underlining the importance of artisanal culture.
The event will be opened with talks from LUISS President Emma Marcegaglia, Confindustria Fashion President Claudio Marenzi, Comitato Leonardo President and Member of the LUISS Board of Directors Luisa Todini and President and Founder of Altagamma Santo Versace.
Additional commentary will follow from Carlo Capasa, President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and Minister of Economic Development Carlo Calenda, as well as Rai archive images and commentary from journalist Barbara Modesti.
LUISS Rector Paola Severino will then lead a roundtable discussion with Nicola Bulgari, Brunello Cucinelli, Carla Fendi, Pier Luigi Loro Piana, followed by testimony from Alberto Cavalli, General Manager Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art, Fabio Corsico, Director of Institutional Relations and Development Gruppo Caltagirone, Furio Francini, and Mariapia Garavaglia, President of the Manlio and Maria Letizia Germozzi Foundation.
