The LUISS Blue Team takes sixth in the Rotman International Trading Competition

The fifteenth annual Rotman International Trading Competition has come to an end.

The LUISS Blue Team, led by Professor Emilio Barone and with team members Dario CavalloneFilippo CorsiniAndrea Ferrara SantamariaMatteo FerrariErica Iacomini and Matteo Jacchia, took sixth place among the 52 competing teams, winning gold medals in Commodities Case and Algorithmic Trading, two of the six events. Competition came from 52 teams and five continents: North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

The top five teams all hailed from Canada (Calgary, Wilfrid Laurier, Laval, Toronto) and the United States (Carnegie Mellon). Placing behind the LUISS  Blue Team are City University of New York (Baruch College), the champion of the previous two years, Chicago, Cornell, Duke, New York University, Princeton, and the six other European teams participating in the competition (the University of Cambridge, University College London, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, Reykjavik University and the University of Economics in Bratislava).
