From August 23 until August 25, LUISS University hosted the third annual Rotman European Trading Competition 2018: three days of case studies and challenges in applied finance and market simulations.

The competition, organized in collaboration with the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, was won by the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Economic Sciences. Taking second place was BI Norwegian Business School (winners of the ENEL Electricity Case and the Intesa Sanpaolo Liquidity Risk Case) and in third was the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

The winners of the final challenge, the European Investiment Bank Interest Rate Case., was the Faculty of Economics and Business from the University of Zagreb.
