The Luiss Blue Team, led by Professor Emilio Barone and with members Dario Cavallone (team leader), Luca Ciampriello, Niccolò Fabbri, Leonardo Martinelli, Elena Perugini and Simone Romano, took third place at the Rotman International Trading Competition.
The competition took place in Toronto, February 20-22, and involved 47 teams from four continents: North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
This year, first place went to Baruch College - The City University of New York while second place was taken by the University of Calgary.
The Luiss Blue Team topped teams from highly competitive schools, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Los Angeles as well as the seven other European universities participating in the competition.
This year's bronze medal will go up in the Luiss Blue Team trophy case alongside 2 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes brought home over the past 11 years.
