Andrea Prencipe, Luiss Rector, will introduce the speakers and Luca Giustiniano, Luiss professor will moderate the event.

On June 11, the sixteenth talk in the series was held. Featuring Frans Berkhout, Executive Dean Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy at King's College London and Professor of Environment, Society and Climate and Francesco Starace, Managing Director of Italy's utilities concern, Enel. Simona Romani, Luiss Professor of Consumer Behavior and Rector's Delegate for Sustainability and Digital Innovation moderated the event.
Frans Berkhout remarked upon the importance of, "Looking far more closely in the ways we interact with and influence the natural world, including the ways we extract natural resources, will help us in preventing future pandemics. The circular economy should be central to this strategy."
"Our collective drive toward sustainable practices started with asking ourselves, 'how could we carry on without negatively impacting society and our planet?' The pandemic forced us to reflect on what really matters, and to rethink the sweeping disorders that surround our lives," concluded Francesco Starace.
Luiss Vice President, Paola Severino, provided opening remarks with Rector, Andrea Prencipe, introducing the speakers.
