On Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm, Luiss is pleased to present a new volume written by financier, Marco Morelli , entitled Capi, colleghi, carriere. Questi sconosciuti – Bosses, coworkers, careers. The unknown.
Luiss Vice President, Paola Severino, with Rector Andrea Prencipe and General Director, Giovanni Lo Storto, will engage in a conversation with Marco Morelli about his book, along with Andrea Battista, President of the ALL- Associazione Laureati Luiss Alumni Association and its past president, Daniele Pelli. Fabio Tamburini, Director of Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper will moderate the event.
Marco Morelli, has long been a figure at the helm of many important financial institutions, both in Italy and abroad. In his tome, he offers suggestions and advice for those entering the work world, while broaching topics for those already well into their careers and who want to understand corporate machinations, perhaps as they look to change firms or foresee a promotion ahead.
The author runs the gamut of "typical" colleagues you will come across, along with the bosses you may meet or already know well. Readers will find archetypes including, the 'volcanic boss', the 'introvert', 'everyone's friend, 'the chef'...Each with their strong and weak points, along with a user's manual for relating to them.
