#Luiss.MasterClasses are our ongoing conference series surrounding the current global pandemic. Starting last April, a wide range of world renowned experts have been called to look at the health crisis through their specific lenses and current research connected to the global Covid-19 pandemic and its repercussions.

All talks are streamed live on Facebook and Youtube.

Our next #Luiss.MasterClasses takes place Thursday, July 16 • 6:30pm with experts discussing University Education – Post-Pandemic. Insights into what to expect will be brought to light by Vincenzo Boccia, Università Luiss Guido Carli President and Stefania Giannini, Vice Director Generale UNESCO for Education. Luiss Rector, Andrea Prencipe will open the talk and moderate the event.

Our last #Luiss.MasterClasses discussion marked our 25th event. Featured guests were: Paolo Boccardelli, Director Luiss Business School and Marco Simoni, President Fondazione Human Technopole with Luiss Rector, Andrea Prencipe opening the discussion and moderating the event.

"Modern industrial policy must take pains to protect competition, sustain essential markets important to the economy and nurture public-private partnerships capable eventually to compete with major global players," affirmed Paolo Boccardelli.

"Carrying out effective industrial policy in today's day and age means taking very concrete steps. It's not possible to make decisions solely based on an abstract concept of 'public interest'. You must have very precise plans ready for deployment," concluded Marco Simoni.
