Luiss starts the new academic year with 18 new faculty members recruited from the international job market. True to the Luiss values of diversity and inclusion, new faculty members come from 8 different nationalities and include a majority of female professors. The Luiss community is proud to welcome 4 full professors, 3 associate professors and 11 assistant professors and lecturers.
- Antonio Majocchi, Professor of International Management, joins the Department of Business and Management. He received a Ph.D. from Bocconi University (1996) and previously taught at the University of Pavia. He is the recipient of the Deloitte Chair in International Management and Global Challenges.
- Maria Savona, Professor of Industrial Economics, joins the Department of Economics and Finance. She teaches at the University of Sussex where she received a Ph.D. (2005). Maria will enjoy a double appointment (Luiss and the University of Sussex).
- Aristide Police, Professor of Administrative Law, joins the Department of Law. He received a Ph.D. from University of Perugia (1995) and previously taught at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata.
- Christian Lechner, Professor of Entrepreneurship, joins the Department of Business and Management and Luiss Business School. He received a Ph.D. from University of Regensburg (2000) and previously taught at the University of Bolzano.
- Maria Rita Testa, Associate Professor of Demography, joins the Department of Political Science. She received a PhD from University of Florence (2002) and previously taught at the Vienna Institute of Demography.
- Xavier Venel, Associate Professor of Game Theory, joins the Department of Economics and Finance. He received a Ph.D. from Toulouse School of Economics (2012) and previously taught at Universitè Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
- Blerina Sinaimeri, Associate Professor of Computer Science, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a Ph.D. from University of Rome, La Sapienza (2012) and previously taught at INRIA - Institut national de recherche en sciences et technologies du numérique.
- Andrea Miglionico, Assistant Professor of Law and Economics, joins the Department of Business and Management. He received a Ph.D. from Queen Mary University of London (2016) and will continue to teach also at the University of Reading.
- Alessia Farano, Assitant Professor of Legal Metodology, joins the Department of Law. She received a Ph.D. in from University of Naples, Federico II (2014) and previously worked as a post doc at Luiss.
- Michela Altieri, Assistant Professor of Corporate Finance, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a Ph.D. from University of Turin and previously taught at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
- Lakshmi Balachandran Nair, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a Ph.D. from University of Italian Switzerland (2016) and previously taught at Utrecht University.
- Cinzia Calluso, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a PhD from University of Chieti-Pescara, G. D'Annunzio (2016) and previously worked as a post doc at Luiss Guido Carli University.
- Tatjana Schneidmüller, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Innovation, joins the Department of Business and Management and Luiss Business School. She received a Ph.D. from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (2019).
- Francisco Villarroel Ordenes, Assistant Professor of Marketing, joins the Department of Business and Management. He received a Ph.D. in from Maastricht University (2017) and previously taught at the Isemberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst.
- Matteo Escudè, Assistant Professor of Economics, joins the Department of Economics and Finance. He received a Ph.D. from European University Institute (2020).
- Megha Patnaik, Assistant Professor of Economics, joins the Department of Economics and Finance. She received a Ph.D. from Stanford University (2017) and previously worked at the Indian Statistical Institute.
- Youngah Guahk, Lecturer of Hospitality Management, Asian Culture and Politics, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a Ph.D. from Universität Duisburg-Essen (2017) and previously taught at the Sungkyunkwan University.
- Stefania Farace, Lecturer of Marketing, joins the Department of Business and Management. She received a Ph.D. from Maastricht University (2012) and previously taught at Eastern Connecticut State University.
