Giacomo Arena is a graduate of the Luiss Law program. “At Luiss I enriched my academic career with numerous activities: student associations, sports, an Erasmus program in Stockholm and I even acted as a student representative sports delegate.”
Giacomo is currently a contestant on 4cLegal, the first talent competition dedicated to the new Italian legal market, on-air every Wednesday at 9:00 pm on BFC Forbes, Sky Italia channel 511. Giacomo was right in the midst of a career change, from lawyer to notary, when he was invited to participate in the program. “It was unusual. Law programs are generally quite standard, while television programs on legal themes are totally new. It’s given me the chance to test myself in so many different ways.”
During the talent competition, the Luiss graduate has the chance to dialogue and learn from trainers and delegates representing important companies on a wide variety of themes: “It was a chance to put my soft skills, like leadership, teamwork and writing, to good use.”
When Giacomo looks back at his time at Luiss, it’s the people he remembers most, both classmates and professors, the former helping him grow and the latter transmitting his passion for the sector.
To current students, Giacomo advises to “fully experience the University and take any opportunity you get. Today, it’s important to be curious.”
Following his first few years in the profession, Giacomo dreams to pass the notary bar exam as soon as possible: “I’m dedicating the next few years to my studies to become a notary.”
