Following a welcome from Luiss General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto, Luiss President Vincenzo Boccia introduces the presentation. Dialoguing with the author during the talk are Luiss Vice President Paola Severino and Enrico Letta, Director of PSIA Sciences Po and former Prime Minister of Italy. Moderating the presentation is journalist Maria Latella while concluding is Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe.
Prima l’Europa. È l’Italia che lo chiede is a series of Il Sole 24 Ore editorials written between March 2019 and August 2020 by Sergio Fabbrini, Director of the Luiss Department of Political Science. An expert of European politics and institutions, the author outlines the new geopolitical axes of integrated Europe. Working chronologically, Fabbrini illustrates the functioning of an organization that is crucial to the continent’s economic development and democratic stability in a year of important changes, accelerated by the pandemic.
