On Friday, February 12, at 2:30 pm, Il nostro tempo con il pensiero, the first lesson of the General Philosophy course took place. The course is taught by Luiss Professor Sebastiano Maffettone, Director of the Luiss Business School Ethos Observatory.
The course aims to launch critical and multidisciplinary reflection to analyze key current themes and understand this historical moment. The main themes will be analyzed with the help of experts in four areas: the future, values, living beings and innovation.
During every lesson, Professor Maffettone will introduce the theme before leaving the floor to invited speakers from the worlds of academia, culture, politics, entrepreneurship and civil society. Among the invited guests are: Massimo Adinolfi, Massimo Ammaniti, Paolo Benanti, Marta Bertolaso, Paolo Boccardelli, Massimo Cacciari, Francesca Corrao, Massimo D’Alema, Mirko Garasic, Valentina Gentile, Fulvia Guazzone, Giuseppe Italiano, Barbara Jatta, Giovanni Lo Storto, Valerio Magrelli, Vincenzo Manes, Gaetano Manfredi, Domenico Melidoro, Marcello Messori, S.E. Mons. Vincenzo Paglia, Gianfranco Pellegrino, Andrea Prencipe, Mario Rasetti, Gianluca Riccio, Simona Romani, Ingrid Salvatore, Bruno Siciliano, Marino Sinibaldi, Paolo Spagnoletti, Valeria Termini, Debora Tonelli and Giorgio Ventre.
The course is open to all Luiss students. Collaborating in the project are students from Ethos Young.
